Boston, Biological Weapons and the New Arms Race - A Bio-Safe Level 4 (BSL4) Laboratory has been approved for the Roxbury/South End neighborhoods of Boston. This piece reviews the local, national and international concerns about building this type of laboratory in a intercity neighborhood in Boston.
The goal of the film was to bring voice to local activist organizations, politicians, scientists that disapprove of this type of government defense work under current guidelines and realities. It was completed quickly as an informational video. It has ben shown at a number of Biological Weapons related conferences and will be included in a break out session at a UN meeting in Geneva, Switzerland.
